About

This game was made in a week for Thinky Puzzle Jam 4 by a team of nine. Incorporating the theme of 'Extreme Sports', we wanted to create a 3D puzzle platformer that utilised interesting and innovative mechanics, whilst imagining a fictional world in which these could be incorporated that met the spirit and theme of the jam. We decided on a near-future setting where advancements in VR technology have led to a boom across the gaming and Esports industries, resulting in high demand for increasingly extreme Esports events where players can compete in a simulated environment without causing physical harm. Settling on the ability to manipulate time and gravity, this sample section of a much larger game concept and world showcases the player character entering a proficiency trial for 'Graviton', in exchange for a chance at sponsorship to compete in a televised Esports event against other contestants.
